Twitter is a challenge. You don’t really want to do it.
But some things just have to be done. Like marketing. And, well, socializing. And believe me, with Twitter–as with a lot of things in life–once you’re in, you’re in. You love it. You can’t get enough.
That’s why, over the past few months, I’ve read a slew of books on the subject. Many of them have been really good. But few have been as surprising and as information-dense as Twitter Marketing for Dummies. It is specific in its instructions—even technical. It is unexpectedly comprehensive. And it could make anyone who’s not afraid of technology an expert on using this funny little medium to market themselves.
Besides that, the author, Kyle Lacy, has a fun, distinctive writing style (I don’t know if he started out as a writer, but all those one-liners were probably great practice) and it could make you a screaming success like him.
I stayed up all night reading it. Check out my results at www.twitter.com/mollieplayer.
