In high school, my group of friends was the outcasts. They were weird and artistic and intelligent. Because of that, they often felt superior others, most notably the more popular kids, who they thought were snobs. It didn’t take me too long to see their hypocrisy, and pretty soon, I didn’t have any friends anymore. Later, I realized that I was a snob, too, but of a different type. And that was one of the things that was making it so hard for me to be happy.

So. My happiness tip of the day: Don’t judge people too harshly. You’ll end up with no friends.

Besides, you’re probably just as bad as them.

(This advice does not apply to partners, though.

Your partner should definitely be just as perfect as you are.)
