law of attraction success story - flowers

Contributor: Mollie Player

A few weeks back, my husband and I were having one of those weeks.

You know what I mean: One of Those Weeks.

He was a little cranky, and I guess I must have been, too (though I can’t verify that). Usually, it doesn’t take much for it to turn around, but it does take something. I just can’t always figure out what.

So this time, I decided to use my law of attraction superpowers and say an affirmation. This is what I said:

“My husband is in a great mood.”

I must admit that because I only said the affirmation like, once, and because it was such a small thing, I didn’t really think that it would work.

But it did.

“My Mollie,” Dave said to me almost as soon as I came home from work the same night. “I love you.” He was smiling, and there were flowers for me on the kitchen counter. For the rest of the night, and during the several weeks since, things have once again felt easy and nice.

  1. Hi Mollie,
I think I know what you mean by, “One of Those Weeks.”

Lately, when I notice I’m in the middle of one of ‘those’ moments (weeks, days, hours, minutes, etc.) — whether it’s with my wife, someone at work, or even a stranger — I try to remind myself that by the focus of my attention I am the attractor of whatever I’m experiencing in that moment, and I can choose a different focus with a better-feeling vibration that will transform the moment into the kind of moments you describe with you husband after you thought a better-feeling thought you described in this post.

Blogs like yours make it easier to remember. Thank you for what you’re doing.

    1. Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment! This week was definitely another difficult one, but I’m coming out of it now. It had nothing to do with my circumstances at all . . . Of course, I AM pregnant. Gotta get SOME credit for that! 🙂 But still, after praying about it yesterday, I felt so much better. Then I had to get out and see some friends.
