Having a good career is one of the best things in the world, and one of the healthiest.

The reasons are obvious: first, it gives you money. (More about that later.) Second, it gives you intellectual stimulation (more about that one later, too). And, lastly: a good career gives you an ongoing sense of accomplishment.

And without those things, I don’t think I’d be happy.

And I’m not the only one. Recently, some psychologists looking into the subject of happiness have found the same thing. People overestimate the amount of enjoyment they will receive from having “free time,” they say. As it turns out, we are much happier when we are being productive.

As it turns out, people don’t really like being lazy.

My blog does well and there are other things I do that give me purpose and make me feel as thought I am doing things on this old world and in this life given to me.
