Law of Attraction Success Story: “My Eczema Has Mostly Disappeared”

Contributor: Anonymous

My entire life (well, pretty much, anyway), I’ve had eczema on my skin. It’s a pretty common condition, but no one knows what causes it and all known treatments are temporary for most people (the most effective of these involving steroids). With the medication, the condition is usually pretty tolerable for me, but about three weeks ago, that was no longer the case. For some reason that I still don’t completely understand, the medicine seemed to stop working. My eczema had spread to my neck, face, and new places on my arms and legs. Every night, the urge to scratch (and therefore encourage it to spread it more) would keep me awake–and miserable. So, I decided to say an affirmation:

“My skin is perfectly clear. I have no eczema at all.”

Shortly after saying this affirmation, my husband and I decided to go on a last-minute trip to Mexico. I read somewhere that sea water is good for eczema, so I was looking forward to seeing if the trip would improve things a bit–though my confidence was not very high. Well, what happened surprised me.

Within two weeks, all of my eczema except the spots on my hands was gone.

I don’t know if it was the sea water or the humidity or the sun or what (though I suspect the sea water), but my skin is better than it has been in a really, really long time.

Update: Several years later, my eczema remains at lifetime low levels. I now suspect that it was the Vitamin D from the sun on the trip that healed me that week. I’ve been taking liquid Vitamin D ever since.

Law of Attraction Success Story: "I Doubled My Income"

When you are trying to manifest something that is difficult for you to believe you can achieve, you have to grow to a place where you can believe you can achieve it. I have heard this many times but for whatever reason I finally got it, because I am now living it. I decided that, while continuing to feel good, I was going to find more ways to make myself a vibrational match to the job that I want. I decided to start with an affirmation:

“I am so thankful and grateful that I am earning $7000/month as a Loyalty Cruise Expert. The timing is perfect!”

The first portion was framed to focus on why I want the job and put in present tense like I already have the job. Gratitude is a powerful vibration and this statement makes me focus on what it feels like to already have the job not to get the job because I am thinking about how to spend that money. I added the last part because I still have some self-imposed stress about creating this soon, by adding that I received this job at the perfect time I remind myself to trust in the timing of the universe and that everything always works out.

As soon as I got to the office, I wrote this down on a sticky note, put it on my Perrier and took it with me wherever I went. I repeated it over and over again, and read it as much as I could as well. I made sure to feel good while saying it, focusing on the feeling of gratitude and what it felt like to already have it, not on hoping that I get it.

As I was doing this I was also thinking about my success last week–I made more money last week than I had ever earned in one week before. Knowing that my income was already increasing was another thought that easily made me feel good and seeing the results of my efforts starting to manifest is exciting. I knew that I was going to produce the same income for this week and the next two, before I go on vacation.

After repeating my affirmation for an hour or so and thinking about the fact that I am attracting more money than ever before, I started doing some math on a scrap piece of paper. I pondered my previous salaries to try to figure out exactly how much more I was making now than I was before and in doing so realized something that blew me away.

I HAVE DOUBLED MY INCOME!

My salary in the past was pretty much the same for most of the jobs I had before I joined the cruise ship and I won’t use the cruise ship salary to compare to because its lower, yet I didn’t have rent and food expenses so its hard to say exactly what the equivalent would be. I am currently earning double the net income of the most money I have ever made in the past. WOW! And all this happened:

  • Less than 1 year after making the decision to finally get control of my finances
  • 9 months since I joined the Global Information Network
  • Less than 2 months since I went to my first GIN event and began to fully plug into the system
  • After 2 months of tapping to release negative emotions, thoughts and feelings
  • After only 7 session of B.E.S.T.
  • And only 17 days into my 30 Days in the Vortex Experiment, in which I know I have not been in the Vortex as much as I would have liked (editor’s note: read Danielle’s explanation of the “Vortex” on her site).

I have to say that I wasn’t making very much money before, and to most the money I am earning now wouldn’t be considered something to get excited about, but for me its a lot. I HAVE DOUBLED MY INCOME! Plus I have next to no work related stress or responsibility like I used to have when I was a manager and making less. I am having fun and enjoying myself at the office and the bar. The money I earn from the office is the same as my salary when I was in retail management, but because back then I worked evenings and weekends I couldn’t get a second job to supplement my income like I am now. It’s really very simple, but the results are amazing.

I could get caught up in the fact that it’s not a permanent position or that I have to work two jobs or beat myself up for not doing this in this in the past, but why go down that road? The only thing I want to think about right now is that I have doubled my income (sorry I can’t stop saying it!) because the more I focus on that the more of it the universe will bring to me.

Law of Attraction Success Story: “We Manifested the Retirement of Our Dreams”

Guest contributor: Jan Beekman of janbeek.wordpress.com.  Jan writes an inspiring blog about motherhood and more.

A few years back, my husband and I were ready to retire from California (where we had lived our entire lives–67 years, minus a couple years in Germany early on, when he was in the army). We found a log house in Utah that we fell in love with, made an offer, and received NO response. It was a good offer … but not full asking price. A year later, we learned the house still had not sold; it had been taken off the market, and was now back on. In the meantime, my husband had been diagnosed with prostate cancer and we had put our move on hold–we were were in a “watchful waiting” mode. We bought a beautiful Monaco Camelot motor home instead of a retirement home, and we’d made several enjoyable trips. Now, a year later, we were ready to revisit the Utah house and make another offer.

On our way there, we drove to visit friends who had recently moved to Montana. While there, my husband fell in love with the state–the terrain, the openness, the wildlife, the people. However, I still had my heart set on that Utah log house. We looked at houses in Montana, saw one that to me was “just okay” but in a beautiful location. However, my heart was in the Wasatch Mountains outside Salt Lake City!

So, we left Montana and returned to Utah and made another offer. Returning home to California, expecting a response, we heard back from the Montana folks, but NOTHING from Utah! Again, it was an offer certainly worthy of a counter offer at least! God’s message was pretty clear to us: He didn’t want us in Utah.

As I write this today, Montana is where my husband and I have been for the past six years. That “just okay” house has become the most wonderful home in the most supportive, beautiful community, and my husband’s cancer is gone.

“All things come together for good for those who believe … and who act according to His purposes.” I am glad I was tuned in to the Holy Spirit–to God’s leading–and to the future He intended for me. When we tried to go in a different direction, He put up roadblocks: silence! But when we moved in His direction, He gave us the green light – and the checkered flag!

Law of Attraction Success Story: “I Found Steady Freelance Work”

When I first decided to start saying affirmations, one of the first I tried had to do with work.

Work is my passion. I love what I do and want nothing more than to keep sustaining myself (maybe, more than sustaining? Dare I say, thriving?) in this way. Since I had just given birth in November, though, and had only worked sporadically since then, I really wanted things to pick up. So, I made some phone calls, wrote some emails and did all the usual things, without getting much response.

Then I tried it: My affirmation.

It was this: “I have steady freelance work.”

Here is what happened next: The following day I received an email from a client that I hadn’t heard from in a while (my best paying client, no less). Then, later that same day, I landed an interview that resulted in a one-time paying job and a job offer (which I later refused due to other work opportunities).

And the story gets even better. I got more work from my best client. I got several jobs from my agent. And I’m happy to tell you that the past several months have been the most productive and financially lucrative of my career.

Law of Attraction Success Story: “I Wrote Several Books Quickly”

In February of this year, I wrote down the following sentence in my prayer journal:

“I have the ability to write books quickly, exactly as they should be the first time.”

Four days after writing that affirmation, I got inspired with a new story idea. I sat down and started writing and I finished an entire 20,000-word story in one week.

It was the first time in my life I have ever written something of such substantial length so quickly.

I remember the night that I completed it. My husband and I went to a dance club and I felt so good. I just danced and danced and didn’t care what anyone thought of me or how I looked because I’d just, that day, accomplished something that I was so proud of, and so quickly.

That week, I wrote the first (rather nice) draft of a 20,000-word story in less than one week–something I’d ever done before. And there’s more …

Before this time, in all my years of writing creatively, I’d written and self-published one novella-length manuscript and one book of poetry. I’d also written most of a full-length memoir/how-to book and most of another novella.

After this time, I finished and published the memoir and the screenplay. I wrote three other novella-length works and published them, too. Then I finished the final draft of the story that started it all, and published that, too.

And all of this happened between January and April.

I cannot tell you how grateful I am for this success.

Law of Attraction Success Story: “I Started Making $1000 Dollars Per Week”

Contributor: Anonymous

When I first started applying the law of attraction to my life in January, one of the first affirmations I said had to do with work. And guess what? It worked. But I wanted more. Previously I had asked the universe for “steady work,” but now, I was going for an upgrade. This was my revised work-related affirmation, said in late February:

“I make $1000 dollars per week.”

Now, I didn’t sit down and do the math to try to figure out a reasonable financial goal. I just came up with a number that sounded great while still being in the realm of possibility (i.e. faith), and went with it.

And whaddya know: This one worked, too. The same thing happened.

I have reached my weekly earnings goal every week since.

I finally did do the math just the other day, and this is what I came up with: On average, my income more than doubled to meet the new quota and–here’s the funny thing–I came within $50 of that new goal–the one I set arbitrarily, not based on anything more than instinct.

Very cool, I thought.

Law of Attraction Success Story: “We Found the Right Home for Us”

Contributor: Anonymous

Last February, my husband and I decided to look for a house.

“Remember, we can’t jump the gun,” we told each other on our first round of viewings. “We can’t fall in love with a place that’s not ideal.”

Well, as it turned out: Falling in love wasn’t the problem.

By late in the month, we had seen a lot of places, and we were feeling ready to make a decision. We congratulated each other for not getting too attached to any of the homes we’d seen so far and keeping focused on our budget. We felt prepared to make a sound decision.

Then suddenly, only a few weeks after we started looking, there was a huge surge in demand for houses in our city. People were swarming a lot of the places we looked at and everything we liked had multiple bidders even before our tour.

Then, along came the “dream home.”

Now, this wasn’t a real dream home–budget was a factor, after all. But we loved it, and it was our current dream.

So we gave our agent the green light and that night, as my husband and I were doing a little yoga in our living room, I decided to say an affirmation about it. I didn’t just say the affirmation once, though; I said it over and over and over while envisioning the house in my mind.

I said it for nearly an hour and a half.

The affirmation I said was this: “I have the home of my dreams.”

Looking back, though, I realized something: the affirmation isn’t the thing–it’s whether or not something feels right that matters. And that house, even that affirmation–it just didn’t feel right. I said it over and over thinking it would “work,” but what I didn’t realize was that the Universe had something better in store.

Several months later, only a few weeks before our son was born, we found an even better house, one that fit our ideal much better. It was in the exact location that we wanted, and was the size and style I’d imagined, too. When we saw it, we both knew right away it was the one. And it was–we found out the next day they’d accepted our offer.

Law of Attraction Success Story: “Everything Fell Into Place”

In 2009, I really “got” the idea of acceptance and gratitude. Consciously, I let go of struggling against my life and focused on appreciating my home, my job, my relationships, my body, me—everything!

About two months later, I was sitting at home having dinner when my husband called from a conference. After a few minutes of catching up, he said, “Some people have asked me to apply for a job.”

It happened to be in another state in an area that we loved and had dreamed of retiring to “someday.” I encouraged him to throw his hat in the ring, if that was what he wanted.

He arrived back home on Tuesday and had his application in on Thursday. The following week he had a telephone interview that went so well they invited him up a few days later for an in-person interview. A few days after the interview, they offered him the job—with a significant raise.

That weekend we saw the community that would become our new home for the first time as we looked at houses with a realtor. By Sunday we had put in an offer, which was accepted as we raced back to get our home on the market. After spending a week prepping our home to get it ready for sale, I walked out the door on Saturday morning to fly to a conference in Los Angeles just as a couple was coming in for our first showing. By the time I landed in LA, we had a full-price offer in-hand—something everyone told us was impossible due to the economy.

Three weeks later, we closed on both houses, and moved to our new home—and my bosses agreed to let me take my job with me. Not only was I able to keep a job I loved, but I was able to fulfill a dream of working from home. Everything—absolutely everything—fell perfectly into place for this mind-boggling fast transition to happen—a transition that allowed our dreams to come true.

Law of Attraction Success Story: “I Got a Check for $500”

Guest contributor: Chris at Wisdom and Life and CJPphotos.com. Chris writes about the law of attraction, faith, spirituality and wisdom and is a very beautiful wordsmith.

A few years ago, after watching Rhonda Byrne’s The Secret for the first time, I decided to follow one of the steps she gave–the one where she said to ask for something, write it down and believe that it has already arrived.

I was introduced to the movie in November, and the goal I wrote down was that by the end of that month I would receive an unexpected check of $500.00. So,  I wrote the goal down, kept it in my wallet and then simply forgot about it.  I know this will be challenging to believe, but as November closed out I went to visit my mom for my Sunday dinner.  After dinner, once everything was put away, she went to her bedroom and came back with her checkbook.  Then she wrote me a check for …

… Drumroll please …

… $500.00.  I hadn’t thought about that note that I’d tucked into my wallet since the second week in November, but when my mom handed me that check, my heart skipped a beat.

“What’s this for? ” I asked. She shrugged. “Nothing.  Just wanted to do something for you,” she said.

As I opened my wallet to put the check in, I saw the note I’d written earlier in the month.  I pulled it out and showed it to my Mom.  She’s EXTREMELY skeptical of spiritual matters, by the way. She has a challenging time with my new paradigm.  I recommended a book I’ve been using recently for my blog called Journey of Souls by Michael Newton. I’m doing my best to help her remove her blinders.  (Not being so successful, however.) This was a good chance to do that.

When she saw the note that I pulled out of my wallet, she was as surprised as I was.  The EXACT figure I’d written down was received at the EXACT time I’d asked for.  C’mon!  That just doesn’t happen.

Law of Attraction Success Story: "My Bone Spurs Disappeared"

law-of-attraction-success-story-bone-spurs

Guest contributor: Scott of kindredspirit23.wordpress.com. Scott blogs about positivity, the law of attraction and much more.

A few decades back, my wife (at the time) went to the doctor. Her foot hurt horribly every time she stepped on it. The doctor diagnosed the problem as bone spurs–a very, very painful condition–and told her to walk carefully from now on. He also said that it might take surgery to remove the spurs.

Soon afterwards, she and I read a book on visualization. One of the sections was about something called “target words.” A target word, the author said, was a phrase you said constantly, often out loud, thus reaffirming it in your brain and in your life. Because of the repetition, the brain would react as if it was being told what to do. So, my wife and I thought about this and remembered that she had a habit of saying “I just can’t stand that!”  when something bothered her. We agreed that she would completely stop saying that  particular phrase.

Just a few weeks later, the doctor reexamined her foot, and you guessed it:  The bone spurs were completely dissolved–no surgery required.

Think of those target words you might say regularly. Maybe they are: “It’s killing me!,” “You worry me to death!,” “That just wears me out!,” or “That makes me sick!” All of these phrases are destructive and can cause physical ailments. I encourage you to choose better words and thus to choose a better life.

Law of Attraction Success Story: “I Found Several Close Girlfriends”

true law of attraction story

Contributor: Anonymous

Last January, I was feeling alone. After having neglected my existing friendships for quite a while and failing to look for new ones, it hit me: I needed to make a change. Big time.

I needed friends, but not just any friends–good ones. Deep ones. Ones that I loved to talk to and could learn from.

So first, I got busy. I called some people that I hadn’t talked to in a while. I went to some events and met some new like-minded people.

And then, late in the month, I decided to pray about it. This is the affirmation I decided on:

“I have several close girlfriends.”

And it worked.

The day that I wrote that affirmation in my journal, I received two very sweet, heartfelt texts from a woman that I admire very much, and had been hoping to get to know better. Then, later the same day, I got another text from another friend I’d made recently asking me to go out to coffee. Since I hadn’t heard from the first woman for quite a while, and the second had never texted me before, I was really amazed at and grateful for how fast the affirmation had worked.

I’m not expecting everything to change instantly as a result of this one affirmation. But I believe that if I continue in the frame of mind I’m in now regarding friendship, the big change I’m looking for will come.
